SCIENCE AND NATURE

Toddlers are innately drawn to try and experiment with all types of items. Our program provides opportunities to experience nature every single day.

Examples of science activities are language activities about anatomy, such as models and puzzles focusing on parts of the body, both human, animal, and other living things, lessons in gravity with household items, experiments with color mixing and creating their own sensory bottles, measuring various things around them, and creating projects that allow them to understand the outcomes of various experiences and experiments.

Some examples of nature experiences include leaf matching, flower arranging, care of living things in the classroom and in the outside ‘classroom’, sequencing with shells or sticks or acorns, nature scavenger hunts, digging in sand and experimenting with water, as well as walking in the rain and snow.
