MUSIC

You will find music throughout our program.    Providing all different types and styles of music is part of the children’s daily experience.   This includes listening to music, dancing to music, making their own music or talking about types of music.   Having music integrated into our daily classroom communicates to the children that musical expression is not the realm of a few gifted people, but a birthright common to all of us. Examples of music related work are singing songs during our weekly visits with Mr. Skip & Mr. Scott, exploring musical instruments from other cultures, listening to The Smiths during our morning work cycle, or having a class wide dance party.
